Are any of you guys familar with Alan Oliver. He is currently selling a strategy called, "Three Gold Keys". He's only releasing 100. Oliver is very good and very knowledgable when it comes to Gann. This new strategy being released is comprised of a uniqure MACD setting as well as a unique EMA setting that works wonders. The strategy also can include some Gann stuff, but can operate without. I would like to know if anyone here has purchased this strategy and if so, how is it? Also, does anyone here have any other Alan Oliver stuff that they've purchased? Would really like to know more about the "Three Gold Keys. " Thanks.

I'm not familiar with him or his gold keys but I can tell you it follows the same pattern as every other ripoff trading scam, does he mention anywhere that he will reveal a trading secret that only the insiders know?
Alan Oliver is most definitely not one of the scammers you all seem to hate so much. He does sell material, some of which I have purchased. He has attempted to communicate a new interpretation of some of Gann's techniques, which I personally have found quite useful. I have been receiving weekly educational updates from him for several years, all free and all quite interesting.
As for the Three Keys, because I believe he is a genuinely honest person, I actually think he is telling the truth about selling no more than 100 copies. Obviously I cannot verify this, and neither can anyone else. He has implied that this is the last material is he going to share.
The new material is more than just a special moving average - it majors on Gann's Swing Charts, which is one of his specialist subjects and the reason I like his stuff.
I have bought the Three Keys - about 60 quid. Big deal. I will not be able to share any more information about it.

That's not a bad price for it, then. I've seen shocking prices being asked for by others. Let us know how you get on with trading that system? You could post trades after they've been closed?

Yes, I have ALL his material and he never ceases to amaze me with his ability to show how simple it can be to use great Gann and Fibonacci tools and now he has come up with this system.
A MA and a MACD are of course not necessarily Gann tools BUT the way they are combined is the secret.
Alan Oliver is without doubt a very clever trader and a great educator, his material is THE BEST I have ever seen in 12 years of trading and there is NO rip off involved.
He gives FREE email and phone support and sends FREE great analysis EVERY week.
Now the Three Gold Keys owners will get a weekly chart analysis of how to use it.
I would believe that if all he wanted to release was 100 then that would be it.
Alan has been a very successful trader and if one can get a few snippets of the systems that he has used to great effect then you can count yourself very lucky.
I certainly hope the owners have the brains to keep it to themselves so that it does not become a common way of trading and lose it's effectiveness.

Wow, if I didn't know any better, I would bet this is Mr. Oliver himself providing us with a reply. That's okay. But, it's pretty obvious. Otherwise, most buyers, even of fairly good stuff, will share something. How about sharing with us the specs for the MACD and what MA is used? If everyone who bought the systems shared it with a 1000 people it wouldn't affect the movement of the markets, especially a market like the ES. It's just too liquid. How absurd to think otherwise. That's just a good sales pitch to keep it from being spread around. But, again, that's okay. If not willing to share the specs, then give us some more detail about how the system works to some degree whereby a trader could use any MACD or MA combination of their choosing. Surely, you can get to that point. Thanks.

Look ask yourself if it is really that good wouldn't you just trade it, make your millions, and live it up on a tropical island somewhere! And the whole i am only releasing 100 is just marketing crap he will release a million if he could get that many people to fall for it!
I haven't seen or know anything about him but you need to understand that these types have certain traits( or red flags ). First one is i am only going to be selling 10, 50 ,100 and so on, Like i said marketing crap. The 2nd one is if you have a system or anything that is going to free us so we can live life, then why is it only $50, $100, $200.....it is just logical these types of things never do well enough because #1 what they are selling is crap. #2 The person buy and using it just aren't competent enough and mess it up. But never has anyone that i have talked too heard of getting rich from one of these types of things. If i had some super setting and some other life changing thing to sell it would be for a lot more. Plz don't fall for the Robin Hood marketing tactics either. The i'm doing this to give back and help others....Pzl just more marketing crap😴
Just use logic and it is easy to know while there might be some short term success, i will bet it won't last long enough to reach a long term goal.
Anyway it's up to you what you do, the ones that come across as glass half empty people are just talking from experience and seeing this time after time.

there is nothing new in this book nothing really applicable to trading, mainly the usual blah-blah about Fibonacci in the parthenon, the leaves or the shells about which I do not care at all in a book about "Trading" even with the help of God.
I do not buy the strategy :
send me some dollars (even australians) and say nothing to others !
experience shows that the "secret" strategy is always a rip-off or at the minimum is not worth the money
