accepted bets now rejected

Hi
anybody ever had this problem
price quoted on a daily contract suddenly jumps a bet is placed and accepted
price then falls back to normal level bet is closed
few days later bet is cancelled by sb firm saying price was a misquote
any comments :(

I think the legal term for what you describe is; "The movement of the goalposts"

Interesting that they don't ever get a wrong price when your stop has been spiked for no underlying reason.
Yes, I do SB but this has only happened to me once and I regard it as an occasional hazard.
I would also mention the times when I have queried something and they have adjusted the outcome so that it gave me a small profit. :)
 
yes it happens , some SB firms are worse than others.

in my experience , IG is one of the worst .

Sadly it's one of the things we have to battle against (as if some of IG's ridiculous spreads werent bad enough!) to make a profit. I would agree with you, IG are one of the worst.
 
I think its disgusting that SB's treat their customers so very badly! We play by the rules and base our trading decisions upon their quoted prices, they should honour the client and the spread he is buying or selling into.
