So option and future holders decided to rollover for Aberdeen. What conclusions can we draw from this? Given the stock has started an uptrend after a significant downtrend maybe we could assume that option and future investors believe the stock will continue to rise so wanted to hold on to the option. My knowledge of options and futures are very basic so I may be barking up the wrong tree!
The stock has taken a beating because of its exposure to China. But judging from past problems in China, it has recovered and probably will recover this time as well. I am dividend oriented investor, so for me the dividend is much more important than the stock price.
