Some people I know and others are taking part in what I can only describe as a harebrained drive across Europe and part of Asia:

It's a bit like those jolly japes they get up to on Top Gear, without the cameras or exhaustive backup. Without any backup in fact.
My sources report that those fine upstanding upholders of the Ukrainian speeding laws seem quite willing to accept Euros for the (ahem) special service charges they are forced to impose, and do not insist on USD.
On learning of this, Chancellor Merkel, currently touring in another fine country said to the waiting cameras: "Danks für your support. A strong Euro ist exactly vot ve vant", smiling through gritted teeth.
If any representative of the Ukraine is present, please do not for one moment take this as any kind of slur on your fine country, with its record-breaking potholes and incorruptible law enforcement officers.
