Hi: Thanks to those who can help!

I understand that the SP500 trades 24hrs a day? Where can I find information about that and could you direct me to charts or platforms, brokers etc.

Also it is possible to trade overseas indices (I am in the US). I need to trade 2am EST to 6am but not Forex.

Thanks again.

don't bother with the S&P outside of RTH, it's a pain.

If you're limited to that time slot, I suggest either the Hang Seng or Nikkei index for the tail end of the Asia session, or the FTSE or Dax in Europe.
I believe you can get pretty much all of these indices from Interactive Brokers

DAX, Eurostoxx, Bund, Bobl would be open during those hours, so would the S&P but it would be very slow with not much volume.

SP500 and E-mini SP500 Index futures trade almost around the clock, with only a few minutes close. Details at cmegroup.com
