    Cotton futures in backwardation

    Looking at the cotton prices today on ICE, Exp (Code) - Price H (Mar'14) - 86.50 K (May'14) - 87.10 N (Jul'14) - 86.58 V (Oct'14) - 79.21 Z (Dec'14) - 77.28 It appears that we have contango up to May'14, then backwardation. I'm not sure if this is the case with other commodity futures, but...

AAPL looks good for a bounce

DISCLAIMER: I am long AAPL. AAPL may go lower, but at these prices I think it is just ridiculous. I went out to buy the latest Android Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Note tablet on Friday, along with the Iphone 5 (I already own a Macbook Pro and a iPad). Having played around with them, I would...

AAPL looks good for a bounce

Well if they announce a special dividend, thats going to push up the stock price right? Im not talking about cum and ex dividend, Im just talking about whether the stock price is going to go up. Regarding the second point, for R&D AAPL has always maintained that as a tech company it doesnt need...

AAPL looks good for a bounce

Right ... you are saying that you don't think "big money" is buying the stock long term and that you think everyone else is selling, so you are following them and selling also. Who were the people then who pulled the stock up from 420?

AAPL looks good for a bounce

Interesting. Why would a special dividend be a sell scenario?

AAPL looks good for a bounce

TBH my opinion on AAPL has changed. I think at a 10.5 PE it's way undervalued, given its cash pile and also its products. (yes its the usual undervalued stance) However I also think that analysts are very bearish about it, with most estimates falling below the consensus reading. This has...

AAPL looks good for a bounce

Also the fed & BOE have printed more money in those past 4 years than even before. Not saying there aint going to be some corrections along the way, but imo we're in a bull market right now.

AAPL looks good for a bounce

I dont agree that big money's withdrawing from the market, but am expecting a bounce in AAPL at some point. I think the selling has been independent of whats going on in the broader market and is pretty much unjustified. I'm waiting for an upwards trend before buying.

    FXTechstrategy Team: Commodity Analysis

Re: GOLD: Vulnerable Below Declining Trendline. I'd just like to know who is selling gold right now. Are you telling me there are people out there who really believe that the fundamentals of the world have changed in the past year? Someone mentioned a government conspiracy to lower the price...

AAPL looks good for a bounce

Stock has been subject to huge amt of selling from hedge funds and institutional holders. The stock has amazing fundamental value, I'm sure it will shoot back up. But I'd hold off buying until an upward trend emerges....it's likely to continue downward for the time being

    Off-Exchange Transactions & Market Pricing

I was looking at the FTSE 100 index on Sierra Charts, and noticed it runs past 18.30, which is outside of the main trading timetable for SETS (8.00am-4.30pm) I just wondered if anybody knew why? Is it because they incorporate pricing from futures or off-exchange transactions? Whilst we're on...

    Q: Unsecured convertible loan stock?

Makes sense. Thank you. Without having done any further investigation, I'm guessing the loan was made before the share price plunged (when the share price was over 10p). That would answer all your questions!

    Q: Unsecured convertible loan stock?

Can someone help me with this question regarding unsecured convertible loan stock? I am investigating GMA Resources Plc (which is no longer listed actually), but for point of reference in January and May they issued a RNS note regarding their share price. It mentioned that they have 'unsecured...
