Hi Peter, The new release has better order entry - ie the stop loss you are keying in is not reset so quickly. So, if like me, you key the numbers in slowly, you don't have to start again. Do you have a date yet for the release of the 3000+ products? I haven't kept up with this thread recently...

nodga, I think that capitalspreads work in the way that you describe and that CMC charge you the same for shorts as longs. Back in post #608, I suggested to Peter that there shouldn't be a financing charge for short equities/indexes.... To be sure - because the financing works differently for...

Thanks Ross, Don't want to stray too much off topic, but I did double check with another GFT operator just now. Would have been useful for me for stocks I'm trading via GFT Can display (dynamic) horizontal lines of buy and sell prices, but only plot the sell price.

GFT show the spread sell price on their charts. This is better than having the market price. However, I asked their help people whether the spread buy price could be charted. Answer was no. You can get the current buy price to show on the left of the chart (the other prices are on the right)...

Peter, Nice to see the chart improvements you've listed. I have had a live nextgen a/c open for the last week or so. Also opened a GFT a/c at the same time as they have wider range of US equities. Just traded one instrument on nextgen so far, FRES.L . For the time being, I'm using GFT charts...

Peter, I know this isn't likely to be imminent, but for drawing tools, pitchforks (Andrews and Modified Schiff) and ABCD patterns would be useful additions. GFT have both of these.
