    Brexit and the Consequences

All politicians are alike and the Spanish are no different from anyone elses. My guess is that Susana Diaz dId the nudging. Andalucia has elections any day, now, and borders Gib. Gib gives them a lot of work and commerce. She is of the same party as the central government, ie PSOE socialist...

PLEASE HELP - Price dispute with broker

Never mind second opinions. You should be out of the trade and argue about it after. Do you keep your contract notes? I keep mine until I am satisfied with the resulting P&L.

They will tell you what you want to hear, as long as you are paying.:)

    Brexit and the Consequences

No, they are not, so far. But they are doing the best they can. It's natural, isn't it? Otherwise they would not be Remainers. More than anything, because of the length of time that I have been over here, I like to consider myself a European and I hate the idea of UK not being a part.

    Brexit and the Consequences

Well, that makes sense! I suppose 100% of 100% who voted to leave did vote to leave. I still say that 52%-48% is not enough. Now that we have this furor, the division shows very clearly.

    Brexit and the Consequences

Oh! Not happy with EU policies. It seems that you are going through something similar. That is not leaving or breaking up, it's about wanting change. Something very different and something that the the EU was hoping that the UK would help with forty years ago. Such was not to be, unfortunately...

    Brexit and the Consequences

Very slow! :D We just don't get it.! Show us where, in that Guardian article, it says they want to leave EU. I thought Brexiters never read The Guardian, anyway.

    Brexit and the Consequences

I don't understand cv on this point. I don't see any other member state wanting to leave at the moment. That is not to say that it won't happen, but neither he nor anyone else can foresee when.

It's no laughing matter. This guy is capable of getting everyone into a war with his big mouth.

    Brexit and the Consequences

I'm not talking about the Rock, itself, although Spain wants it back--that's true. The point is that, like Hong Kong, Gib is going to have a hard time if Spain chooses to work to rule regarding passport and customs checks Gibraltarians have been buying land in Spain because there is a space...

    Brexit and the Consequences

Thanks, but we'll hang on to them, if you don't mind. You should have thought about all that before you went in.

    Brexit and the Consequences

Isn't it? It is a similar situation to Hong Kong. The UK had to lease land on the mainland for the population overflow and when that lease was up they had no option but to hand it all over. Gibraltar's overflow came over the border and bought up the property as necessary, which was OK while we...

Unfortunately, what brought US out of it's depression was WWII.

    Brexit and the Consequences

I am in the unfortunate position of being British and having lived more than half of my life in Barcelona. I, truly, love both countries. I suspect that there are a lot of Irishmen out there who feel the same --- not to exclude all the other expats on boths sides of the Channel who are married...
