Would you trade a coin toss?

I think the noise they makes depends on the coin toss on the way down

Would you trade a coin toss?

I am running two scenarios, 1 with a 50 stop and 1 with a 100 stop. Between 9 and 10 in the morning (depending upon when I get around to it) I toss the coin. So today the 50 point stop has been hit, hence the -55. 100 point stop still going....

Would you trade a coin toss?

Effkay, looks like you are well versed on this. BTW - heads came up earlier today for a buy. Not looking like it will be a good day for random land. Pound and euro just stopped out so that's -55 each....

Would you trade a coin toss?

Trendie, I wasn't specifying anything you may have said re 1000 points but a more general comment on the ads you see on different web sites. "as per recent post here, I suspect that some trades ending the day positive were stop-lossed-out intra-day !!" - as previously stated, anything that...

Would you trade a coin toss?

If there is a mistake in the figures then it is an honest one, thanks for the catch though. Just fixed it up in both the 100p and 50p charts - absolutely no idea what I was doing there. Anyway, I fixed up the tables. So as of last trade: 50p stop: Euro/$=174, GBP/$=547 100p stop: Euro/$=122...

Would you trade a coin toss?

Interesting stuff...here is my coin tossing forex trading for the last couple of months. I should stress this is paper only :-) Curiosity got me to try this out. Basically flip a coin each morning around 9 or 10am GMT and close out at end of day (or stopped out). Three worksheets - 30, 50...

    Forex Exotic Options Basic Strategy

Based on your premiums you need to have a win:lose ration of more than 2:1. Do you think this is achievable? Most people talk about 50:50 ratios and a mixture of money management and big wins to see through. Just curious on your thoughts as this is what put me off these kind of vehicles.

    South of France?

As an alternative... Switzerland has no capital gains tax unless it is your sole income. Even then, after all taxes and social security is taken into account you are looking at about 25% in Basel. Zurich is lower, Zug even lower. But the place to be is in the Italian speaking part on the...

    Scalping

I tried intra-day (hourly chart) trading on €/$ with finspreads but found I was losing more than I was winning. Went back to paper trading and found the same thing. Now trying trading off the day charts with more success. I have also seen on other sites people say intra-day is a mug's game...

    FinSpreads vs Saxobank

I was using the gci charts to trade the Finspreads futures prices - so I was really using the chart to look for trades based on the graph as opposed to checking for pip-to-pip agreement. I have been looking into Capital Spreads and using their spot SB but have yet to compare the prices with...

    FinSpreads vs Saxobank

Rember the Finspread bid/ask is the futures price. (from IMM). The chart is "pseudo-spot"; from what I have heard they work back from their futures price to get the spot. So you have two variables, the calculation variable and any delay variable. The bottom line is this - don't use the...

    FinSpreads vs Saxobank

Wouldn't it depend on how much each chart is delayed? they are certainly not real-time. The price you get when it comes to placing a bet is live meaning it could be different to the chart...
