I dont know where you are seeing this, on mine the current spread for EURUSD is 1.36751 - 1.36759, and goes through all the numbers, not just 0s or 5s..

sure, that obviously is the thing to do, but it sometimes happens that you open a spot trade rather than a futures trade, maybe not with the intention of running it for long, but it can end up sitting there. either it goes in your favour and you are happy to let it run, trades sideways for a few...

you are right, the pennies do add up and we would all rather keep those pennies in our pockets than in the pockets of the SB firms.. you only have to look at the comparison table on spread co's site to see the big differences between spread betting firms and how much they charge - spread co...

So they have - I will give them a crack now, I have been waiting for them to get their charts sorted... Will be useful to have the free stops when playing with gold, USD/YEN etc these days! :thumbsup:

I like it - at least they have got the charts sorted.. I like Spreadex but haven't used them for ages as they didn't have charts. I will definitely be using them a bit more often now. Site looks quite cool, a little but more of the 21st century than the last one! :thumbsup:

And what about the multiple times the EUR/USD and other markets were 'Temporarily Closed' at various points yesterday? I saw at least 5 times and I wasn't even watching that much. you seem to have missed that issue.

applied for an account yesterday, had enough of Capital Spreads platform going down repeatedly.. 25 minutes the Dow was shut for last night at one point. nice and easy to open the account, will let you know what I make of them after a few days trading with them

You are not the only one having problems with CS today, there platform has been closed many, many times today on various products. EUR/USD has been repeatedly on 'Temporarily closed' and now, the Dow, which is supposed to be 24 hours is shut too. very poor today. had enough, going to try that...
