done a few things this morning on Dax, looking at other things now (EURUSD) as the indexes are so volatile your money management can pretty much go out the window, stop levels have to go be crazy big and one minute a level is valid for s/r, the next you're screwed.

9200 was a great entry on the Dax today, added to longs at 9480 and rode it to 9700, long again at 9660 on the 38 and out again 9780. US limit lock probably hindering more to the upside for the moment.

I would be very surprised if it were not approved, but there's certainly one way to find out for sure.

I think it's extremely unlikely that they're going to ask for a P60. I've opened accounts with multiple brokers and never had to provide any kind of information like that, including with IG. All they've ever asked for is Identity/Bills. As long as the income is feasible, ie. your parents aren't...

The savings won't be the issue, it'll be the income. They don't want the FCA knocking on their door after you blow your account and end up in absolute poverty due to losses. So, you can either a) lie about your income (tricky now that you've already told them what it is) ... b) try another...

For beginners, I'd say IG is probably the best. Trade from 0.25p/point on some instruments, demo and live accounts are exactly the same, biggest broker in the UK, probably best desktop/mobile platform too. Second choice would be CMC.
