i ve managed to accumilate about 80,000 pounds over the last 15 years buying uk shares, as they are easier to deal and certain tax beifits dealing in these, but now my bloker has offered me no transaction fees on purchase of international shares, im of the opinion that the uk is a bad investment...

actually, i think lloyds banking group is a merger of halifax and lloyds and from what i can make out from their charts is the shares went down to 20p in 2009 and are now struggling to reach 60p thats why payment was so low and no dividends, is that right?
