I am not sure. I just watch the relative strength of the pair and buy the stronger one and short the weaker one.

I calculate the ratio of Dax/stoxx50 as follow: 7238*25/2688*10=6.731 so it is about 1:6 but I found that the result would closely follow the direction of stoxx50 is the ratio correct?

How do they calculate this ratio?
