    Forex Trading - December 2003

I waited and waited. Then got in on the up :cheesy: Happy to say did not do my usual thing and wait for it to go further - got out with 50 pips on eur/usd and 40 pips on usd/chf. Makes a nice change to control my greed

    Take The Risk!

As a spreadbetter I regularly risk more than 1-2% :o Unfortunately I don't have a lot of choice, my capital is so low. I only trade in £1s usually, use tight stops and trail them to lock in profit even though this does sometimes result in coming out too early. (Motto- better a small profit...

    DOW Close

Neil, the price is in the Mail on Sunday and shows it as the closing price. No idea if this is correct, but no-where does it mention any other time.

    DOW Close

I don't wish to be a prty pooper, but my paper shows the DOW closing at 9862, not 9775 this week. Is my paper wrong, or, is the comp wrong. :?: I noticed that the current price had not changed all week.

    Cool it down

Now hold on just a minute Zenda, you admit to being a newbie, well, perhaps if you went back a year or so and read all the posts you would get the flavour of what this site is all about. Naz and Mr Charts did nothing but RESPOND to condecending posts from others such as yourself, people who...

    Where do they come from

I'm posting on this board as the subject is not really about trading. I've been looking at all the threads with contentious posts and have noticed that the vast majority of - erm - detractors (for want of a better word) have joined quite recently. Do you think they may have been imported from...

    Telephone scam

I have had dozens of these calls, 20 in one week! They are auto calls and if you leave the phone ringing long enough they just ring off. Any that have got through I simply put the phone down. It amazes me that anyone can believe the load of tosh!. I think that wonderful saying 'There's no such...

    Forex Trading - December 2003

Have to tell someone. Went long on EUR/$, short on $/CHF. Have just come out of of both, each with a 3 figure profit - not bad for a whole £1 a-piece. :) Only been doing forex for a couple of weeks, mostly the above 2, but I find it much more relaxing than shares or indices. Also have a punt on...

    Annoyed of Fleet.

Mr Charts Thank you for your very kind offer to look at one of your trading records, however, I shall not take you up on it. Whilst far from the longest serving member or most prolific poster, I have been around long enough to sort the wheat from the chaff and I prefer to believe those whom I...

    Successful Traders.

Hi Bigsy, First of all, good luck with trading. Secondly I am really not the right person to ask about trading software. I only use Sharescope who only do the British market, the rest of my info comes from the SB companies and the odd freebie chart. Unfortunately they are not usually real time...
