I need a charting software where I can customize my system can I do this with metatrader? I trade with GFT can I just use the software and not have to open an account?

I trade with GFT and i'm looking for someone to program my own custom alerts for me, does anyone know of anyone who provides these kind of services (other than the esignal scripts)? I know their are trading alert services but I want one for my own system. Thank you

Supposedly the US dollar index is updated 24 hours a day seven days a week but where? Is there a site with this information...and is their a difference between the cash price and the futures price?

Can anybody tell me what the margins are for UK/US shares when you set a stop with IG. They claim that its substantially lower yet won't tell me over the phone.

I make money....but bull**** money...if your not talking millions then your not talking money. And then the frequency of the signal is not that high.

IG markets broke my heart when they told me that there is a 10% minimum on the their guaranteed stops. I set my stops at a nickel (and no I don''t get stopped out four years of exhaustive research gets you that good) now I can't put on those 5000 share moves with these expensive ass UK...

Hmmm....so no one wants to see the day of $10,000 point bets? Shame.....

So as spread betters who do we aspire to be? Who is the paradigm for all spread betters? Who is the king of this?

I have built a very effective trend based model, but the problem is the frequency of the signals are rather low. Whats another way to get involved more in day to day price action? Spreads maybe? How do you guys make money?
