Can somebody please enlighten me....... Since the DAX trading hours were extended to 22.00 CET, I am unable to relate the day's closing price with the 'Change' figure displayed by IB in TWS. This morning, for example, the DAX opened at 5301.0 and my chart showed a close price ay 22.00...

You could try downloading the atomic clock syncronisation program free from: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download.asp?fid=16627&fileidx=1 This will automatically syncronise your computer clock once a day.

I am thinking of changing to Sierra Chart as my charting software. Can antbody tell me if it will display a tic chart using data from IB? if so how wil it be shown (each trade joined by a line, individual trades as dots, and will any volume data be available). I can't test this in demo mode...
