Can't see anything on the horizon that would bring gold down that far atm, if china announces anything gold related this week we could see 1850. I don't like how fast it's going up however, definitely a bubble at the moment but it *has* to reach 2000 before years end.

Obviously gold's got to come down a bit after today. I can't imagine it really dipping back below 1650. With the US downgrade gold may hit 1900 faster than previously thought. Thoughts?

Currently riding the gold wave like everyone else, reaching record highs this morning. Do you think we'll see gold settle back down at about 1600 and continue to rise from there? Currently at 1670, possibly considering investing a bit more, but waiting for the next big dip.

There are plenty of threads on this forum that suggest anyone who actually cares about their money should stay away from CMC. Search the forum and you should see that they are not a company you want handling your hard earned money.

I'm completely oblivious to excel, but I want to try and calculate an nth formula in it. Does anybody know how to do this? For example, using the formula n+(n/10), could i start with the number 100 and then run the forumla so it would look like: 100 110 121 133 etc. Thanks.

To clear up this isn't true volume analysis as you can't generate volume for a index. It's just a fancy indicator being tauted under the guise of 'Market Volume'. Have you used it Paul71? I'll have a look at the trial and see what it's worth.

From what I've read on these forums stay away from CMC. Don't even bother suing a Spread Betting company, you're just going to throw away more money and most importantly, time.

Perhaps lowering the account deposit actually requires people to put in more. If you can credit an account with the exact amount that's needed for minimum margin, it won't take long before they give you a margin call. Suddenly you have to put in £3000 more just to cover your £1000... Or maybe...
