chai laew krub. The airports are open, so it looks like I'm out here. I may push my flight back by a couple days, but it looks like I'll be back in the US by the 20th.

Gah! Maybe I spoke too soon. If the Bangkok airports don't open within the next few days, I will be among the officially stranded. So, who knows, I may make that next meeting afterall :-0 USD/JPY trade update attached.

I hate the bkk trots. Sorry for the late check-in. I had a nasty case of the BKK trots that had me clinging to the porcelain throne for dear life. Been checking the forum, but I wasn't ever in front of the computer long enough to write, or enter a trade for that matter. I'll be heading...

    Which route to start?

This is some advice that I could come up with: 1) First, learn the basics at the babypips school of pipsology. It's free. You must do this, because the profitable traders who have an established track record will use a lot of jargon and conceptual trader talk when explaining trades. You won't...

A bit risky, bringing my misus. She'll see your adorable kids and have the right ol' **** with me for the rest of the week for not yet giving her one. Put me down for 2 people, though it could just be me in the end.

I wish I could contribute more, but I wouldn't know the first thing about TS. I'm a MT user myself.

Is any one willing to help (forex)

Hi Paddington, Thanks for your response. Regarding the EUR/USD trade, I think the times are different on our charts. That is, a 16:00 hour candle is a 14:00 candle on my chart. I believe I see the candles to which you are referring though. As for that trade, it was going quite well in the...

Is any one willing to help (forex)

I'm feeling a bit better today. The most prevalent advice I've received here was to widen my stops due to market volitility or just stay out of the market until it calms down. But, yeah, who knows when that will be? I re-entered the EUR/JPY today and rode it all the way back down to my...

Is any one willing to help (forex)

Chilltrader: Thank you for your advice. I know the markets have been highly volatile lately and I would like to just sit on the sidelines for a while—and may do so. I will take your recommendation into consideration. Porph: I do notice that if I were to take a larger stop-loss on all of my...

Is any one willing to help (forex)

Thank you kindly UKtradergirl. To clarify, my strategy is to wait for a break-out, buy on a pull back as it approaches the nearest support/resistence level. Then, set my stop loss 20 pips behind at a resistance/support level. My target is usually 20 or so pips beyond the break-out candle. I...

Is any one willing to help (forex)

My system of trading has rarely failed me, but over the past 5 to 6 weeks I've taken a beating. In most scenarios, my trades have been stopped-out only to then come back and hit my original profit targets. Can anyone, is there anyone who is willing, to help me in my situation?--or at least...

    Anyone in Thailand?

Glad I found this thread. I'm in Bangkok too. Been here for 8 mos. now. I'm a full-time trader. Coming from the East coast of the US I find that Thailand is a much better place to trade from due to the timezones and cost of living. I'm interested in meeting other traders out here.
