I wish to open a UK IB account and have a query about funding it. Can I do a BACS transfer from a UK bank account ? Alternatively, can I write a cheque in sterling or use my debit card ? Also, does IB do BACS transfers to a UK bank account when one needs to withdraw cash ? Thanks in advance.

Anyone else having orders "missed" when trading Wall St Rolling Daily ? Have watched price come to rest on my order price but not trigger it several times, only for it then to move in my direction, leaving my order still unfilled. I am sure there is an innocent explanation for this !

How is that Capital Spreads makes a Daily Rolling Charge when you go short Eur:Usd and when you go long the same pair ? Surely both can't be right. Simon ? Anyone ?

USD:JPY would be a good pick. I am intrigued that Concept don't trade this.

Don't know what TA, if any, Concept FX uses. Certainly isn't RSI, MACD, MA crossovers or any of the other usual suspects. Could be pattern recognition. Anyone with thoughts on this ? Maybe the most valuable input is the money management ratios which appear to be based on ATR.

Just thinking alod about Concept FX upping sticks and leaving recent purchasers in the lurch - I regard it as unlikely so long as their signals are producing postive returns. But should the signals turn negative, or the source that Concept itself relies on for its signals disappear, they would...

So to recap Hoggums, RSI 7 on a 4hr chart of Eur:Usd using a 50 pip SL with no set target price seems to work better than all other formulae so far tested ? Or have I read the thread too quickly ? One other point, what is meant by margin 250 ? Congratulations on your work so far.

Interesting thread ! What would happen if Concept FX were unable or unwilling to provide further signals and someone had just shelled out £5000 for the software ? Does their contract envisage a refund in such circumstances ?

This £5 bank charge for withdrawals stinks and is a turn off for me. I have not encountered it elsewhere.
