Thanks Grey1! I was starting to feel like a naked person standing in a crowded room. I will study your stock suggestions right now.
*by the way, I too have the problem of selling too quickly*
Because of it's recent chart history and it's steadily rising financial charts. Look here to see it's financial health. http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/invsub/results/hilite.asp?Symbol=bonz The revenue is steadily rising. It took a dive because it's projected EPS for the fourth quarter went...
Hi Tomorton,
I've only tried the QQQ (for Nasdaq 100) once this year and I did make money. I'll need to study your FTSE and it's seasonal chart history. I'd love to learn more about your strategy.
Today I was punnished for the other stock that violated my rule. I bailed out of SRDX. :| Never again will I buy a stock before it's quarterly reports are released.
Are you asking for specific stocks or do you want me to go into more detail about my system? At this moment I don't have any stock choices that would qualify as reliable and low risk, but new quarterly reports are coming out every day and I'm searching for new stocks every evening. When one...
Hi Moriarty,
I don't favor any specific index. How long I hold a stock completely depends on it's historical chart pattern and what I expect to gain from it realistically. Some are one time trades that I will hold for four to eight weeks, while others may settle into a channeling pattern that...
I was punnished from deviating from my rules. This morning WFT released a pre-report warning that they won't meet their EPS estimates. The price reached my stop-loss range and I bailed out of it.

This site has a good introductory tutorial. It's hard to find sites that teach swing trading without having to sign up and pay these days. I was shocked.
Swing trading usually involves holding a stock for several days or several weeks. I haven't found any stocks with good weekly or bi-weekly swings yet, but when I do I'll share them. Later tonight I'll try to look up some old sites I used to research swing trading for you. They should have some...
You are absolutely right that WFT and SRDX are risky trades...the riskiest I've taken in a long time. I may be punished for them by the very fact that they don't live up to my personal set of financial parameters. Another factor in my strategy is that I buy, at most, 500 shares of any one stock...
I think SRDX is in recovery. Although it's P/E is ugly and it's quarterly report comes out Oct. 29, it's chart and other financials look attractive to me and I bought it at $27.70. I hope I can sell it at $30. SRDX is a Nasdaq stock.
My strategy
This is my strategy at this point in time. It will change over time as I learn new techniques and other strategies to improve my trading. Please keep in mind that I'm the United States and trade only with our markets. My style may not be applicable to other markets outside the...
Re: CURE and WFT??
I'll answer your question in two posts. The first will talk about these two stocks specifically, and the next (which will be very long) will talk about how I find them.
First I should remind everyone that I'm in the U.S. and trade stocks from our Nasdaq, NYSE, and Amex...
