Sorry , didn,t make it very clear. From the exit bar yesterday with the Happy black tick on it, should the ma's have had you short 5 or 6 bars later. Just interested why you filtered that signal.

wasp....a question on your NOK chart, i can see why you exited the long on the trailed stop but going by the rules it should have had you short 5 or 6 bars later or do you use another indicator as a filter? Nice trading by the way, i'm trying your set up on other markets.

Hi a_gnome. Yes trading the Globex GBP/USD future (6BU6). I trde from the IB dome window and stops have always been filled with only 2/3 pips slipage at the worst for up to 5 contracts that i trade. It is always very liquid during UK and US trading times, so no complaints.

zuke, i couldn't agree more, i've constantly faught the spread betters in the past and did not become regularly profitable untill i changed to futures. I've no complaints with IB and you know your fighting the market, not the 3 way fight you have with the spread betters.

wellshot.........thanks for the very informative charts, helped greatly. I had not read any significance into gaps on the 1 min chart untill now, and what is interesting, if you project the gaps into the future, they become tradable support and resistance. cheers Steve
