@elc After opening a position your account must always(!!) guarantee the amount of margin (not jut at the opening) So when the position went 10 points against you your account would only hold 168 Pounds. The margin IG requests is still 225 Pounds, so you already have been owing them money...

Could somebody please confirm that NOKIA (EURO) is closed on IG Index today? I have prices shown as closed and CS tells me market is closed today and will be reopened by tomorow but can not explain decision to do so. Just curious if this is the same for all customers. Thanks in advance!
