I am taking part in the compititon so I am not betting with my real money so to speak. Still trying to get the hang of the markets. Yep it is corus, the price ha been goin gup but I was wondering if the news of job cuts would have a negative effect so to speak.

If a company annouces further job cuts should you sell your shares in the company or hold onto them???

I thikn to start with I would have a minimum investment in the low hundreds, also it would be part time. What exactly is spreadbetting then?

For online trading how do you go about it, I noticed that egg offers share dealing. Could you recomened another company??? I take it I would then just open an account with them with some money and then trade with them every time I wish to buy or sell??

I have been doing that in the share competition. It does show you how much you can gain and of course lose without actually using any of your own money. The when you understand it a bit better etc it is worth trying it with your own money. As of yet I still don't understand what I am doing...
