How to definitively tell that the vast majority of people here are full of s***

You'll never see any discussion on accountants they use. You'll never see a discussion of any tax structure. 'cause none of them is making any money. So no question of tax or structure or accounting. It's all talk. All pure bullshit.

Why is it so difficult to open an account for a Ltd company?

I used to have a trading account with IB for my Ltd company. I closed it a few years ago. Now I wanted to open another one, but the amount of obscure paperwork they demand is unbelievable. IB want a utility bill in the name of the company. I haven't got one because my company operates from my...

Is there an FTT on CAC40 futures transactions?

Does anyone know if France charges a financial transaction tax of any kind on CAC40 futures transactions? TIA.

Interactive Brokers (IB) Rubbish FTSE100 Data Feed

Anybody knows why ICE has priced index futures data so highly? IB's price for real-time ICE index futures data is USD 120, where the price of Euronext's L1 futures bundle is EUR 2, and Eurex futures is EUR 8.75. TradingView doesn't even offer ICE futures. How is one supposed to trade FTSE100...

Tax free futures trading using TT, Stellar, CQG....iBetfinancials

Hello Rowland, Thank you for the quick reply. Two more questions. 1. You say you cannot segregate customer funds because you have to post the margin to the exchange - but so does every other futures broker. When the customer deposits funds, it should go to the segregated account. When the...

Tax free futures trading using TT, Stellar, CQG....iBetfinancials

It all looks very good. I have only one question. Why the hell would HMRC ever agree to such a scheme? As most of the customers of iBet would be large profitable traders who would otherwise be using traditional futures brokers, HMRC is set to lose tens of millions in tax revenue. I also don't...

    Evening trading US shares

Iraj Presumably you choose the basket based on some filter. There will always be stocks which are going against the market, you don't want them in your basket.

I am not asking you to reveal your setup but may I put my guess forward? You obviously don't have to confirm or deny.

    Floor-traded contracts

It's entirely due to my ignorance. I thought side-by-side markets are all traded in the pits. They are, but they are also traded on Globex, which I hadn't realised. That's what I am interested about, markets like currencies and interest rates, not pure pit traded markets like agriculturals or...

    Floor-traded contracts

Side-by-side markets Another question while we are on the topic. Could someone explain to me how the CME side-by-side markets (currencies, Nikkei etc.) work? The floor and Globex symbols are different, but are the prices the same or different? Are the floor-traded contracts different from the...

    Immigration and illegal immigrants.

There is no way to deal with it now. The battle's been long lost. All you can bet on now is the time. Does the British population become a minority in, say, 60 years, or 40 years?

    60 Minute Trader

You still haven't answered my simple question. Do you ask for refund every time you buy something and decide that it doesn't 'work for you'? You are beginning to sound like a professional refund-seeker. You know, people who go into a shop, buy a dress, wear it in a party and the return it the...

    60 Minute Trader

So let me get this straight. You are going to ask for a refund every time you find out a book/course/strategy 'doesn't work for you'? Start taking responsibility of your decisions and if you don't like what's being sold, do your own research and figure out the market yourself.

    Floor-traded contracts

I'd like some advice on trading floor-traded CME and CBOT contracts with IB. I have only ever traded the Eminis so I have had zero exposure to pit-traded markets. When I place an order will I see any difference in speed of execution compared to electronic markets? Or will it all be transparent...

Direct property investment vs property funds vs REITs

All good points. I am not still 100% sure about REITS. The way I understad it in my simple mind is that property funds are affected by mainly one variable: the prevailing property situation. REIT prices are affected by that factor plus all the stock market factors.
