That's the great thing about this new separate thread because it'll slowly get more and more people on it with back tests settings, strategies, results and more, so this is good. It'll just take some time getting people in here... "build it and they will come"

We are closing 50% of the position at 35 pips (first profit target), then we trail the rest using the Trailing stop 20 pips from close of the previous candle.

after posting am going to buy the turbo EA.
Mark, I have a question, your EA has option of stop on the H/L of the last 5 candles, this is a strategy that I have used to good effect BUT , I use 3 candles, can the parameters be set to do that it the EA?
On another point, I am amazed at the pure and utter garbage posted over these last days on the FMT thread. Seems to me that many people spend more time posting than trading!
My take is simple, I bought a strategy that suited my style, which helpfully came with an EA that implemented the strategy, period!!!!
This new EA, as Mark very correctly states gives greatly enhanced features but I fear that many will continually play with settings, reacting to short term market conditions and thus possibly demeaning the true value of the EA and, more imprtantly, the strategy, which would be a shame.
As those who have traded FX for a while will confirm, it is the long term sucess of more or less fixed settings that reflect a proven strategy that will make you money. IMHO, tinkering is frequently counter productive.
Mark has taken a stragety that is well known, a little like Big Ben, acknowledged somewhat different, and turned it into a highly sucessful system and I am totally satisfied with the strategy/EA and the service Mark gives

I now have the EA so you dont need to answer.
We can set up 3 bars (or whatever) as well as a nice feature of last "n" bars pius "y" pips.
Nice EA mark, think this will be good for extracting a few more pips from FMT.

Trying to understand your strategy. Exit 1 is the fixed profit exit. So when you hit 35 pips you close 60% of the trade. Do you have secondProfitTargetPips set with another pip target?

correction: 40% 1st target closing
