Trump is better for global peace

That is correct. However, he did not win the popular vote. Therefore it is inaccurate to claim that he is "what the American voters wanted." He is, as I said, what less than half of Americans wanted.

Like here and elsewhere, the Americans have been brainwashed and become accustomed to the dependency culture propagated by in large, democrats and labour. (central planners / socialists) This is the Washington swamp that Trump talks about. It needs draining. A big clean up operation.

Trump needs to be positioned somewhere between Harding and Reagan.

As to the popular vote issue. Who cares !

I don't think your average Joe has the capacity or cares enough about what really matters.

One could make a case for Trump being really smart (possibly well advised) or dead lucky in this election, depending on your viewpoint.

He managed to tap into voter discontent and turn a presidential election into a referendum on the competency of establishment elites.
I'm convinced Farage had a large hand in this result. It would be logical given that they had a celebratory meeting shortly after the result.

How political leaders use referenda to get the desired outcome.

Until it goes pear shaped  Cameron / Osborne's fear campaign backfire over EU membership.

Hardly had any hand or influence , you would be surprised how many Americans have never heard of him .

He is just looking for Trumps money that's why he is kissing his 2ss . Resigning after a main political event and at a crucial time for his own country and looking to be hired across the pond by a multi billionaire in a political position doesnt make sense its clear he is after money .

He should be attending to the issues at home at least for the next couple of years until this brexit goes by .

Honestly that's ridiculous how irresponsible of him .

Another voter.(n)

I can't save you :(

He is Sooooooooooo unpolitical.
Says the first thing that enters his head.
Well the comebacks to his rudeness will happen.
He could get away with insulting his employees but had better change his tune now.
Putin will beat him with ease.

Well....Tony Blair was very political.....he went to war only to back up "his mate" Bush......In the mean time 800000 lost theirs lives in that move and as a consequence turned this world in a huge mess....

Must be one of capitalism's heroes. A million dollars a year for flouncing around the Middle East ! Lovely jubbly.

Of course now many repudiate him after the clear evidence of his atrocious war crime.... A classic "I never heard of him".....

As I said he was the classic political correct politician still one the worst in history with huge responsibility on his back.

I hope he does not sleep at night...

I recall reading somewhere that he has made a hundred million since being pm

Which is why the "Popular" movements have gained all over the West, even in America. Trump may be as dumb as everyone says but, rich as he is, he managed to get elected on the back of that discontent. That, in my opinion, is not stupidity.

I wish the US good fortune with him. he may rise to America's expectations---I hope so.

Farage didn't need to influence Americans, except for the One that won the election.
It's called, loading the gun, then let someone else fire the bullets.

Farage is an MEP not an MP and as such has no role in government. So I don't know why people keep on trotting out the line about him sorting the UK's issues out.
It's not his job, end of.

Farage seems a bit of a one pony politician. Now that the Brexit issue has been settled he is at a loose end for the next challenge imho. Unless he has some big ideas on what to do and gets May's confidence he is likely to disappear from the scene.

yes.

I hope he will change gear and not only to America.

Why do I get that nasty feeling about Trump ? I see he is appointing a General to a top post. That's ok but for this one even his own men call him " Mad Dog " ! How close is this guy to the red button ? Also appointed are racists and other nasties.

Oh dear.
