The Street knocking on 10,000...

So here we are, neither the the FTSE nor the Dax have any direction this morning, all too shell-shocked by the vote on Friday and Wall Street's knock on the door of 10,000. The thing is, as we all know, if it goes through it decisively, we're going considerably lower. My own bet is that it will go through, but then it will bounce back up before going through again - the second time for good.
I made a few pennies this morning on the opening bounce on the FTSE but I'll leave it to the rest of them to fight it out now. It's too dangerous at the minute, and it's my money!
There's only one way to keep a profit, and that's to keep it: if we trade in a directionless market we are probably going to lose because it amounts to guesswork and hopin the market will go our way. If there's no clear signal it's best to stay out.
Let's see what happens this afternoon...
