The Q's (QQQQ) options day trading

Hi annaanna....I understand the Q's are volatile,but how do you know which point to buy or sell the Q's
Are you using technical indicators,news or ?

Hello everyone.. I'm back, took some time to off to be with the family, hiking in the mountains and other fun things, no laptop, no trading, I had terrible withdraws. This makket is not to be trusted. I think we might see 8k, before bottom in. I am scalping the Qs today.

Hi Anna, Its Mike DiMuzio (Rifleman) remember me? I lost touch with you a few months back. I had written you but got no response at the time. I have recently moved to Huntersville 3 weeks ago. I have been doing well with the Q's. Dont you live somewhere near Huntersville as I recall? I would love to reestablish communication with you. I have two folks I am mentoring now and they are doing well. I would be interested in chatting if you would like and perhaps do some trading together if you are up for it.
Since we have an inverted hammer yesterday, I will be looking for a reversal today to start playng the upside perhaps. Not much open inerest though for any large amounts of money. What sort of forcast are you looking at?

Hi Mike, yes I remember you. We're neighbors, I live in Mooresville. Sorry about not answering you. I took a lot of time off this summer to get away from the market and was ready for a great trading session. Surprise.. I think the Dow will hit 8k today. I am still in Qs puts and I sold an NDX 1350 call option NDTJQ @ 63.00, now 29.30 still holding. I am working on my live daytrading room, hope to have it up the weekend. I will be coaching some group classes in the area, I'll let you know. Bring lap top and lets trade. Talk later.

Just getting serious about the markets again, my small business comes 1st. But, i too trade the Q's almost exclusively. Made some good money the last couple of weeks with this highly volatile market.

Would like to know your opinion on the current candle formation, looks like we could run back to 42?

Hi,
I was just fumbling around the forum here and came across this thread. I used to scalp trade the Q's all day long about 2 years ago (but no options). I made decent money but it took its toll on me. Too much time spent on way too many trades. I might consider daytrading qqqq options now wIth all the recent volatility. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Rifleman. Love the name. I'm President of a 1000Y competitive range. I was a option principal on wall st. for 25 years. I trade QQQQ option exclusively myself from home office as I'm retired now. That's how I make my living. Here`s a tip Ive had a high percentage of wins with. I fade a intraday move to either second resistance or second support based on the old tried and true daily pivot system. GOOD LUCK

I trade QQQQ and SPY options. Lately, I have been buying small quantities of puts at market open and selling them around lunch. Futures pumping has enabled this amateurish trade.

Holding Qs puts, I think we go lower on Fri

Qs target 27.91, 27.81 area, if it hits there, I will consider closing
and will re enter later

Still trading SKF & SRS, just not posting all trades
