Thanks for honest reporting on a bad experience.

You've survived. Maybe need to enlarge the gameplan, there is almost no end of things the market possibly might do, but you have to know what you definitely would do.

am i right in saying you did not actually lose any money you just missed an opportunity

I've experienced it few times and it was worse than a loss.
