It pays to look at both indices if one has the time on a Sunday, apart from gassing about religion in The Foyer 
I normally stick to Footsie but liked the look of the Dax on the chart. The averages seemed better to me. That's the one I picked, this morning, and have just closed with a good profit. There is some resistance there so will let it decide what to do.
At the same time I entered a long trade with the SP. It is outside hours, of course, but I increased my stake size on that because of the lower margin and volatility. I hope to run that all day, if possible, and was able put a stop above BE.
