The point being dont believe anything a company writes about itself in press releases.

PS Oldoneleg mentioned this stock on www.iii.co.uk saying he'd 'missed out' on it.

Spirit On, which is active on digital satellite and IPTV services in Britain, is aggressively expanding into Germany. Earlier this year the company signed a letter of intent with German rights and distribution group VCL Film + Media to cooperate with VCL as it restructures its business.


This article seems like the company had some money in order to get this company. Maybe this is where the money is going? Has anyone heard of these other companies?

Have a look on page 20, I did a little investigation back then on VCL and another company!!

As for question on SOM trading in the UK and OFCOM, all the workings are in Germany so not sure that they would need an OFCOM licence?

Also regarding the 13th and the posting of the accounts, and the CH September 8th deadline to dissolve the company. Even if SOM fail to post their accounts they can still ask for an extension!! However CH will at some point call time if they keep missing the deadlines imposed!

regarding press releases, most of them are nonsense. The internet is full of self promoting press releases trying to boost a company. There's a number of sites where any one of us can put out a press bs.

freepressreleases.co.uk is an example. This website isn't a scam, I'm just giving people a link if they need help to pump and dump their company.

Hi. I've been following this forum for a couple of weeks and find it very interesting. I am an investor in SOM and have had some suspisions for a while but did not now where to go.
The company has called a meeting for September with no dates or venue given but there may be no company left at that stage so I am sceptical as to whether this will take place. It might be better to go to Germany and demand some answers.
They have made a big deal of the tie in with Deutsche Telecom but there is nothing on their website and I have seen no announcements from DT. SOM say that the link has been removed whilst they re negotiate the deal as the original was too expensive. I have moved house and changed telephone numbers since this saga started but have one old mobile number still in use. Strangely yesterday I received a call from John Guchone's "secretary "asking for a good time for him to call me. I have no idea what the call was to be about but I will not be talking to him. Keep up the good work with these posts. I for one believe the money has been lost and do not believe a word that is being said by the company at the moment

I suspect from your username that you've probably seen the light as regards this scam. There's some information about the two people you mention a couple of pages back. Its not difficult to find a lot of information on them, they seem to have been around a while to say the least.

You have done a fine job yourself, everything you claim to have bought has dropped like a stone in the last year. Maybe you missed the post where I showed the SOM share price before the first post on this thread and where it has gone since.

The following company is the registrar for Spiriton Media shares, they are FSA registered. On their website they state that SOM are clients, I suggest you contact them and ask them why your shares are being withheld. This may shed some more light on what is going on.
