Software Problem Can You Help

Hi, can you help,

I'm trying to install some new software, the installation wizard window pops ups and I can see the that its loading , the blue bar gets to 99% and stops,
Ive tried all kinds of different methods of installing, no change, I tried another machine, it works fine on that .......eureka...... but not on mine !
so I changed the cd drive, still didnt work, have you had a similar experience ?

Tried installing under safe mode presumably?

Are you certain the machine is clear of malware etc? This can sometimes cause installation problems.

OK, Ive solved this, I just let the disk spin, went and had a cuppa........came back 10 minutes later, hey presto its working, why didnt I think of that a few hours ago !
