Sorry I was trying to be helpful.
We are a limited company and as such, like every other UK registered limited company we have to register our accounts with companies house.
You are perfectly free to buy a copy if you wish, as you can for any other company. This also lists all private shareholders in the company.
Hardly a veil !

Can we cut out the sniping and carry on whether we agree with the replies put out by SML or not? At least they have the guts to come on and put their view. GLE101 - if you are so dissatisfied it might be worth moving your trading funds to somebody else and see how they treat you as a customer.with all due respect , shouldnt u use a better language

Over this last week I have looked at a number of trade platforms from ECN brokers and UK Spread Bet firms.
ECN is the best but most firms are USA based and there seems to be a lag on feeds with the demo's I tried.
UK ECN's you need a big account balance and if any of us get an account balance of £25k then ECN would be the next step up.
On a funny not I looked at London Capital Group who have FIXED SPREADS, but here is a copy of email chat:

Max Leverage ? 300:1 for FX
Do you have a dealing desk ? yes, our extremely experienced desk is very popular with our customers due to the help and advise offered
Min Deposit ? $2,000 or equivalent in £ or EUR

Is any of your platforms ECN ? Yes, our Currenex platform is ECN but the minimum deposit is $20,000
Dealing Desk. I mean do you have desk trading against my positions ? Yes I understand, we would initially have the opposing position as the trade is executed.

Conclusion:
Not liking the move on SLM to variable spreads but as a Spread Betting company in my view is the ONLY UK SB firm to trade with.
Sorry, but if I tried the scripts five minutes before they work fine, within half a minute of the news they don't work. This have occurred on many occasions. So with all respect my question is a valid one and not meant to offend you or SLM.

I like SLM and what they try to accomplish with the MT4 platform. So I am not interested at the moment leaving them. My hopes is that they will improve over time as I have quite a long outlook testing out a new SB company.

I cant see how it would be possible for them to dissable scripts. Experts maybe (although i trade an EA and it traded fine). Some scripts only run locally so wouldnt interact with the SLM server at all.
They can disable the EA whenever they wish (not sure that they done so though). Scripts I took it for granted one understand, that they will not accept the order coming through to the server at a specific time. It is more likely this is the case when one use EA or scripts if the order doesn't go through resulting in execution.
