I thought i would start giving some quick forecasts for turn dates in individual stocks. I will start with RIMM as it is one of my favorites.

so you think it will fall till the 24th then turn?

I really don't know. My four price targets for this correction are:
54
48
42
36
that's all the info I can give at this point.

Your guess is as good as mine!:cheesy:

Ibm

This is my forecast for IBM

Does any body have a stock that you would like a forecast for?
Remember it's all free and nothing I say or post is a trading recommendation.

you gotta love the way RIMM gaps all over the place. The 48 target has now been hit. Do I hear 42?

Took a little work but...

It took a little work but I finally found the key to forecasting PALM.
I put a chart up that shows what price swings I used for the forecasts.

September 2-08 top gave a pivot date of 4-13-09
December 22-08 smaller top gives 3-24-09
And a big top back on June 7th 2007 gives a pivot date of 8-13-09
If you look at the chart you can see that PALM likes to make longer swings. Trends seem to last longer. That's a good thing though, you can use options to trade it more easily.
Hope this helps

Thanks (y) this stock was 1 $ in Dec now 9 ! , but maybe i didnt understand your way very well , when u say "December 22-08 smaller top gives 3-24-09 " , what exactly u mean ?

I just meant that the calculations I did came from the day of the smaller top. i.e. 12-22-08.
The calculations then pointed to 3-24-09 as a pivot point in time.
As the calculations were based on a "smaller" pivot(not a main top or bottom) the pivot that will most likely happen on about march 24 this year could just be a smaller one.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be confusing.

Good , then u give time targets its intresting , thanks again ...

Remember the next target for RIMM is 2-24 and it looks like the $36.00 price target may be hit.

We did get the turn we were looking for on the 24th.
The low on the 23rd gives a target turn day of March 4th.
The price went all the way down to the lowest number I gave of 36.
The price target to the up side is at least 43.20 and could be as high as 48.50.
All IMHO.

Jason

The next two dates calculated for IBM are 3-5-09 and then 3-9-09.
2-24-09 did turn the market up.

does your method work on indices ( dow , sp500 ) ?

The next turn for RIMM in my calculations is March 14th. That's a Saturday so look for Monday.
Also look for the 18th.
