Refined Elliott Trader

Post Postscript: It just keeps getting worse!

Richard Swannell's wife of 25 years, Mandy, is the daughter of whacko pentecostal preacher Afton Turner, whose "hebron orphanage" (run in conjunction with Swannell) is WITHOUT DOUBT a front for fraud. You can bet your life no orphan will ever see your "donation".

If you run into any of them, bash 'em! God will bless you.

I think it will be better for all if one of the fleeced buyers made a formal report to the police. This may put swanell and his products away. As per bashing them......please don't. There are better ways of earning God's blessing.

I have spent over 6000 hours deriving my system and it is right on about 85-90% of the time and a win is 50% net profit per transaction. I was looking at Elliotician as a means to ferret out the proper direction of the coming move... using version 1.0.7...it allowed using your own files derived from YAHOO>financial... I found that his direction was really good...IF... the rating was 100+ and in the same direction as I was expecting... at that time my directional was only right about 70-75% of the time.... I really worked at it for about 2 mos 8hrs / day 6-7 days /week.

I figured out that his wave thing that verified the findings was very close to a short period fast stochastic...I incorporated that into my system and now have improved my results... I have just today gotten a copy of that software, but it must be loaded onto a computer void of elliottician versions...it will not load on mine as I stupidly loaded the updated version...they didnt want you to use for free....It must write to some file somewhere...

Anyway, I found it easy to use and didnt do all the thought process...the only critical thing I found is you get different results if you set the time horizons different! This may be what sends people off the deep end...It did me.... BUT, I found using the Peak or valley > and closest to 6months worked the best...and easily definable....I like mechanical systems!

I never paid for any of his stuff, but would love a copy if available, FREE and unrestricted.

Thanks, BillyBobJoe

same here ;)
i reckon there is value here ... a jewel in a pigsty ...

I got upgraded to the Refined Elliott Trader which tomorrow has a deadline for getting lifetime upgrades and support for a $3K annual subscription basis. It produces great looking charts with heat maps of price and time expectations, and a bullseye area where it is likely to move to with a kind of analogue heat map type area within the limit lines.

I have run extensive test on the program making it compete with other technologies. I have built spread sheets for each system and entered the trades both long and short. I'm not witty enough to get a formula that deals with long and short in the same cell so I make each page have a long section and a short section. I use trailing stops as well as any signal from the technologies to end, or reverse the positions. I have used my own proprietary sizing algorithm (it reduces size for short term volatility on an exponential curve and for low priced shares from zero to $5 on a sine curve ranging from 0 to 90 degrees). The Bollinger Bands and StarcBands have both beaten the results from RET. A final problem is that the new program is not stable like the old editions, it crashes regularly and also very slow (about double the time to scan a list of symbols with Version 3.0). Tech support keeps blaming Microsoft XP for the problems. I have every upgrade to Windows and it still crashes. They suggest that some registry editing could fix the problem and maybe they will do this for me and I shall see if it fixes the run time error crashes.
I am taking a pass on the upgrade subscription, it is just not reliable enough for the high cost they are asking.

U did well to take a pass on their 'founding membership'.
Had I researched here earlier, I wouldn't have spent ~10K+ on the Ret s/w + $3K founding membership.

Indeed he has become 'Swinefully Rich'.

I have given up on using RET as any kind of daily tool. With a long list of symbols only 255 can be put ind a directory. I broke up the alphabet a bit and put a collection of symbols into 15 directories. A lot of the crashing of the RET comes from trying to make favorites list. Save your time and forget about that. If you have 15 directories then you need to do 15 smaller scans.

Now on Fridays and Saturdays (it is so slow it takes hours for the scans to run even on a dual processor work station) I let it go. I pay attention only to the long Supercycle Degree picks. There is no guarantee that every pick will be a winner but if you take real or paper trade positions on a dozen or so and let it run for a month you generally will find the winners will carry to losers. Probably letting portfolios run for 6 or 8 weeks and then culling the losers would make this a fairly useful system. Thereafter you could look for new Supercycle Degree picks. These tend to be enduring signals so you also might want to make sure that a new symbol gets at least two consecutive appearances in the weekly scan before adding it to an investment portfolio.

In summary then the program does seem to work if you are prepared to put up with it. It crashes easily, is slow and very fussy about your data being absolutely error free. The SuperCycle Degree picks are generally profitable. If you look at options chains in quotes you will find some can generate a lot of cash from selling calls and further secure your safety. I would offer as an example Precision Cast Parts that was picked by RET. It has made good gains but also had some reverses but it gets really great money on calls so it is worth keeping.

Does anybody have any link to download RET (activated version) or atleast trial version???
Would be grateful :)

Since EWA3 days I have gone through 2 computers and 4 versions of Windows (doing Beta on Win 10 if it interest anyone) and it was only a few weeks ago I cleaned out the directories that had the source code, and installation in the C: drive. I am a light weight user now of MetaStock, I use version 10 and it satisfies me. I paid to upgrade to version 13 and no longer use it. Version 11 and later you can only use data supplied by Reuters. My version runs with any data source. I use 10 years of back data which cost me nothing. If the free data has an error entry somewhere in the list on 10 years of a data stream it does not make a difference. I discovered on following silver (SLV) some years ago on short runs of data if you get even a small data error over a short time period it will skew the chart results badly with some of the analytic tools.
If Win 10 interest anyone the most remarkable benefit I find is that it manages memory better than any earlier version. Doing the same work I find that consistently between 2GB and 3 GB less of the memory is actively used. Windows 7 would use 4GB on boot up and with a lot of applications go to 5 or 6 GB and then as time passed find itself up to 8GB or just a small amount above that level. Now it boots at 2GB and with a lot of applications open and running goes up close to 4. Throw on everything you can at the machine and it is really hard to get it to 6GB, almost safe to say it tops out at 5GB with what I do.

Refined Elliott Trader Activation Key

I too am looking to activate a free copy of Refined Elliott Trader.
I paid for an early version EWA or EWA 2 of this software many years ago, but no longer have the computer or the key info.
The RET download I have appears to be malware free according to AVG, but the same cannot be said for all the RET keygen software I have downloaded so far that all seem to contain malware.
Anyone know how to get an activation key for the free RET?
