hunting for a shorting opportunity on eurchf..

I will be looking at the 12800 area for a shorting opportunity on eurusd.
- nice round number for sharks to push price to
- daily P1 confluence
- 50% Fib retrace confluence
- price has reacted at that level before (very minor pivot)

However, It all depends if this minor uptrend continues. I hope it does, it'll be a nice shortclover.

Got taken out for breakeven between 1-2pm

Better wait for a proper retracement.

Also missed nzdchf because i didnt get an order in fast enough.

I have 14565 marked as a pivot. Will see if I can short any retrace today.

some nice iB4's forming / arrows at support

will try to play the breakout.

I guess as trend is down then i will be shorting, but may also be fakeouts?

I am not in it yet buts its broken to the downside and now testing the underside of that daily TF bear flag...best place to get on short would be right about now...

No I am not still in. Entry was at 1.2890. Stops would have been triggered at 1.2476 for a 414 pip gain.

Heres a thought - Long EUR/USD

Hourly pin formed this morning. Holding 12498 cash level.
Daily downtrend broken at 12542 (at writing anyway)

Be wary of a long tho - a selling PIN formed this afternoon and obviously the current trend is down too!

I think it's particularly hard to hold things lately as the volatility has increased substantially. I personally don't favour the Euro long right now.

If I had to trade today I would probably look to sell the US 10 Year T-Note on a break of 116165.

Hi TD,

I came across two pins on EurJPY on 12-Nov-2008 on 5Min Chart, first one was failed and second pin was a good pin. Could you classify or let me know what was missing in first pin when compared to second one. Your explanation could be very much useful.

Missed this unless it retraces a bit, I am going to just watch and learn on this one as it feels a bit dangerous to me.
