Short at 1.7640.

If it gets to 1.7646, I'll be looking to short Cable big time.

its dipping nicely now, but i feel like ive aged about 60 years in the last 10 mins.

deffo gonna hold shorts over the weekend now.

15, 30, 60 ,120min and longer charts all point down. just a matter of time!

Not really m8. I have to confess that I'm still holding onto my short of 1.7550 from earlier. However, I was expecting a bounce off 1.7646, so I wasn't overly concerned.

aah goobs, so almost breakeven for the day lol??

im back to where i was at 9pm last night. but this daddy of a short should come good either today or monday tuesday.

patience is the key.

should have averaged in a bit more slowly, then i could have had wider stops and not wasted a fortune on transaction costs.

still, we live and learn.

keep everything crossed for a nice ride south chaps.

Not traded that for a long time. Primarily swing trade gbp, dax, dow. day trade nasdaq stock (20) and fx (looking at 9 now)

All with basic TA support and resistance.

i agree goobs, we know how cable tends to die from about 5pm onwards, and i dont think it is going to make a massive dash just yet.

Just had a look at my trading diary to review today's trades and notice that I have broken one of my cardinal rules: REMAIN NEUTRAL OVER NEWS! In fact, I posted the following earlier today:

Stopped out at 1.7510 for +47 pips. I'm remaining neutral until after news.

Of course, I didn't stick to the rules and got burnt for -33 pips. The frustrating thing is that I have been trading since the early 90s and yet I still make the fundamental error of trading contrary to my rules.

I'm going home now and will check in later.
