Hi Dentist.
Really enjoying this thread. Just getting into PnF.
Am very interested in purchasing bullseyebroker software but have few queries:
1. What data provider do you use for real time data with it?
2. Can you scan for patterns such as breakouts automatically with it or do you have to manually scan or use something else to identify list of candidates?

Many thanks for a great thread

williams f1...vroom vroom
plenty of horsepower to you
bullseye5 can take data from metatrader/live data
so ig and etx are offering mt4 also alpari and capital spreads/lcg

and...
dont scan for patterns...look at the tyre wear and fuel consumption
jokin....
you must optimise the box size and reversal to get the information..the trends
then look for patterns
place trendlines on first..so there is either trend or a consolidation...you will spend less time in the pits

vroom vroom
just buy the book
get a decent pf charting stuff
visual optimisation of the chart..that is the key
no cockeyed mathematical optimisation
no idiotic trading mentors...coaches
no fancy indecators or oscillators
no trading psychology needed...possibly a psychiatrist in the future
no decision support software needed
malaguti will point you in the right direction aswell

Thanks . Still cannot decide on charting. Bullseye seems good choice. Would use meta trader for forex but need to understand costs for realtime data for us and uk markets. Any recommendations on this?

Book- have Dorsey. Seems good

ig and etx will give you the data for all uk and us
mt4 platform
you can export directly into bullseye
otherwise freestockcharts.com

here is the chart with the trading signals on it..green horizontal lines
the trick is....to get in on the other side of the pattern
on this chart..its the lows on the other side of the breakout point..keeping with the trend
see...its simple

spx index
shows the breakdown point from last thursday
supports and resistances are shown
visual optimisation of the chart
not cockeyed mathematical optimisation.........lol

How did you get hourly data in bullseye broker v4? Thought it was EOD only .
Still determining best package. V5 looks poor compared to v4 so leaning towards latter

I just noticed even v4 is going to be plugged for a far inferior v5.
One day Bulls Eye broker 4 is going to be like vinyl records..an absolute classic.

vroom...
you can get any data you want into bullseye 4 or 5
it might look a bit cockeyed if you do not have some decent box sizes

hide your dollars and your goldcare with cable shorts......
the brits are comin.....
beware

hide the dollars

quite often ...there is no real need for a p/f chart
this is a line dot chart
the dots are the close
in this chart it is 5 min gld
the same as p/f chart that plots the close
trend today shows up nicely

so ...to get a feel of the price action
there is no need to go to p/f chart...far easier to look at linedot...which is available on most charting packages...eg netdania and metatrader/if you download the closedot indecator
then you can move to p/f ...if you want to look and optimise
simple......
look at the trend...then pick off the levels
most other traders just call levels......not good enough..imho

if you are not sure of the price action....then join the dots up
look for trends
childs play
