Hello,

I need to monitor my portfolio positions constantly and need to be alerted if a particular stock crosses a particular price by text message. Is anyone aware of any providers of a service like this that would allow to monitor US stocks and send to a UK mobile number.

I don't know who your broker is, but Interactive Brokers provide this facility. It is known as alerts. If you look at their website and find the help

http://www.interactivebrokers.com/php/webhelp/webhelp.htm

you can search for alerts, specifically "Set price alerts", where it describes how to set up SMS alerts
