I am a Strategy Programmer

Since this is a introduce yourself forum - I would like to do so

I am an highly experienced strategy programmer my main platforms are wealthlab and ninja-trader (C# based) and I dabbled with tradestation although I dont like it much... I am leaving a high profile job at one of the most respected wall street hedge funds to start a programming outsourcing consulting shop so I can manage my own time, perhaps write my own backtesting platform that would take advantage of multi core/multi processing engines available.

I would like to find people who would like to outsource writing their strategies

If U know know of anyone who is interested I would thank you!

I am a month into a forex training programme, just learnt the basics and yesterday was the first look at a live trade through a link to the trainers main screen. He is doing 50pips a day easily so hope I can follow his lead and reach financial freedom pretty quickly. fairly hefty monthly subscription, but one trade would cover it.

Dealing desk

Hi everybody,
this is my first post in this great forum. I am from Portugal a I'm demo trading forex about 3 months and now i decided to get into real world of forex. Anyway i have a question about dealing desk. It's important that the broker i choose has a dealing desk?

It's true that broker's with a dealing desk can go against my positions? How is can happen?

Another question is about rollover. How can i calculate this. Could have a big efect on a single trade?
