I am currently a third year Finance student. I hope to do joint major with statistics/acturial sciences or molecularbiology.

How can you get jobs where you sit infront of trading computers in banks. using bank's money to trade. What are some qualifications required for this job. I dont know what its called.
Financial Engineering: Is stats, or acturial recommended before heading into this field? I hear theres two branches: 1) # crunchers 2) allocation/managing
