Do you not think is just a little bit strange that these people who (correctly) accuse Bush of using terrorism to instill unreasonable and irrational fear into the populace, are trying on exactly the same thing with their ranting about an insidious fifth column out to destroy their precious American essence ?

Besides not being sure what you are referring to..........I have a suggestion for you dcraig. Go to google videos and watch 5 of Alex Jones' films, and see how it all interlinks.. "Police state 3 - total enslavement" is a good one for starters - though it may leave your head spinning , as its fast paced non-stop. Afterwards, you may think it is still a load of garbage, but alternatively, you may also think it all makes perfect sense.

To be fair, i probably believe 90% of what Alex Jones has claimed - due to the solidity & cohesiveness of his evidence, reasoning, etc. etc. and its not just Alex Jones, there's dozens of nootable activists all talking about the same things.

But at the end of the day, even if 90% of it is true, it reminds me that ultimately, i'd rather escape as much as possible from the mess that has been made of this world by other people, and concentrate on more positive and interesting things in life, such as family, friendship, nature, leisure, pleasure etc. in my own relatively quiet corner.

1. The evidence is there to show that all this stuff is going on, and that the people at the top perpetrating this are evil. Why do you choose to defend them?
2. Go away, learn how it all works and then you'll see its nothing to do with individual puppet presidents installed by the ruling elites. LOL. Bush probably can't tie his own shoe laces :idea: . I disagree. I think it is you who has over-reacted, as you have a biased viewpoint, as you seem to sit on the same side of the fence as craig in all this.

I am not trying to be an advert for anyone, nor am i supporting anyone. I simply include names/references that support what seems like truthful, logical well evidenced stuff.

If craig can't take a bit of criticism on his view points, and a few none personal comments about sheep, he needs to lighten up. So far craig hasn't said anyone has gone too far, and he/she seems well capable of giving as good a criticism as he/she recieves, proven by the contribution to this & other threads.

I've just spent 30 minutes responding to posts, posting, editing posts etc. about a non-trading related subject that i really do not give all that much of a s**t about (being a true libertarian) at the end of the day, with IMO some narrow-minded (when it comes to these subjects), poorly researched people. I think that time is nigh.........to end my involvement in political discussions here, as its somewhat of a waste of time !

I'm really sorry I haven't been able to participate but do follow it all with interest.

Some of the stuff JTrader publishes I think are spot on and others like the Devil sign a little off target. I mean I thought that finger hand movement was sort of a brotherly thing you might use on the disco dance floor to Garage or House music.

I think we should read it all and make ones mind up. If you choose not to read it then put it down.

I started reading a book on Krishna which I bought off a follower dressed in traditional costume off Oxford St when I was a young man. I started reading it with an open mind as advised leaving as much of my past knowledge behind as I could muster. By chapter 3 I was saturated as the intellect rejected what I read.

However, reflecting upon the Krishna movement and Budhists way of life being one and in harmony with nature seeking the low life and so forth I think it has a lot going for it in todays material rich hell bent society. People are still not satisfied though. Also, chanting in a group is really cool too. It is theraphutic (I may have made that word up). Much better than chanting in a football match but a football hooligan might think Krishna movement is not his cup of alcohol and vise-er-versa.

I still hold the view humanity is the same throughout the World and one rule that bind us all together is better than umpteen rules that tears us apart.

I should also like to add - sadly that I really like all the posters on this thread and agree with most of your views in particular with respect to DCraig and JTrader and feel a little amused and upset that they have really dug into each other.

I hope nobody stops posting and that we argue about something a little else perhaps?

Looks like the fellowship of the ring has come to a parting point but they do get to meet up again don't they.

Times change, people change and ideas change. I think I would draw more from the book now than I did when I was younger and hot headed. Such is life.

Must confess I did attend the Budhist society at uni and thought mediation was good. In our hyper paced lives taking time out and just meditating also appeals to me. Likewise Yoga. One of my Jehova witness friends objected to Yoga saying it was a religeon and he wouldn't participate in it.

I see so many good things all around but their rejection or acceptance various like different shapes and spheres in time. Sometimes its a round peg into a square hole and others a square peg in to a round hole. Life is all different shapes and sizes. A re-occuring theme.

Having said all that I never thought much about Greek mythology but once again I'm sure it's because of my poor reception rather than the subject matter emitted.
