It was probably obvious to others, but I've just had the eureka moment!
If you draw up your fx hourly charts, but restrict the time templates to showing the major traded hours, I use 7 till 4 for cable, you get greater clarity. I haven't traded with this yet, but the moves seem to jump out at me now, as never before.
