one more question how do you figure it out 10456 is bull test area?

10443-10456 as we said earlier
its a breakout point/prev res area...so could be supp...thats it

it is not guaranteed ...but it gives you an area to focus on

i try to define areas that appear on the chart
prev breakout=prev supp/res
horizontal supp /res
the rest are all calculated lines / areas..ie fibs,moving average,pivots etc etc

does the market know you are expecting support to come in on your fib or 20 ema ??

what appears on the chart...that is what the whole market can see

price has moved away from 7 column ema...tad overbought
breakouts

10443-10456
10368-10381
10400 a cluster area
then 10344 area
lets see what happens
bang on with chronics areas

cluster area hit
now what ??
scalp out of that area aswell

trying to rationalise a few things
1.areas that the whole market can see on a candle /bar,p/f
trends
trend channels
these are prev breakouts= prev supp/res
horizontal supp /res
volume
price patterns

tools...these appear on the price chart and are calculated
moving average
parabolic
bollinger bands
etc etc
indecators...these appear in a separate chart
macd
rsi
directional movement
etc etc
many i have left out...but i am sure you can see where i am coming from

first look..
i want to break down the chart into bullish an bearish sections using trendlines
then usually isolate the last 2 trends
then i am fiddling around with box sizes and reversals to emulate the trends that i can see on a candle chart
then look for prev breakouts etc
a simple routine
most have different methods

10467-10480 was prev supp area on dax..got rejected approx 30 mins ago
lets see what happens
new minor downtrend started after that
down to 10410 cluster area for a rethink
