FTSE, DAX, DOW Trading Ideas and discussions

One massive smiley face from Mrs Daxy before she messes some people over

I dont' think much will happen until post - referendum.

Monday morning likely to be same again.

Play for safety imo.

As for market - me thinks we'll tread water and move sideways along PP.

Wouldn't be surprised if Tsipras calls the referendum off to save his seat. :whistling

Hope so. Because I'm tired all of this volatility.

Clearer view over the past 24 hours. Dax is in a downtrend - no surprise there.

Price is getting squeezed - it needs to break that price consolidation - methinks it'll be to the downside. But could it also be a reversal? Trend res @ around 11130 area. But also look to area posted on pre chart.

All other areas for sup / res stay the same as posted last sat.

Anyway guys, I'm off to the gym - cya tomorrow

DAX sod & eod charts...

I think the Daily eod chart is most telling.

Big range small body. Tug of war between bears and bulls with no where to go.

Bulls made some uplifting but only half way or less than the body yesterday.

fwiw - I'd say we have some price agreement around 11000. This is likely to continue to next week as Mrs Merkel has indicated without the referendum no can do.

SPX and DOW

Not looking good. Bulls showed up but not up to 50% not even 20%.... X marks the spot.

Looking very bearish for both. (n)(n)

A much clearer view over the past 3 months. Next area is 10650 area imo if trend is to continue. We had it marked a few weeks back and I also heard a few of you spouting that area as well - correct if I'm wrong If 10800 breaks and that break holds, we'll probably go to that level.

Spx into the open is looking reasonably bullish
30 min candle has a rising trend
it needs to take a pop at 2080
dax needs to take a pop at 11192

Back to normal now, seems they don't like the opening swings at 07.00
These had become a bit like the 08.00 on a regular day, oh well!

Morning all :)

Steady teddy day today... Try rolling that off after a few beers in the sun ;)

Attached the usual Daily sod charts for DAX/SPX/DOW.

Neutral today with not much of an idea.
Expecting sideways move on DAX.
SPX and DOW will perform the usual up down steps.

Will as before watch out for PP levels S/R and take a few punts.

Some noise expected;
9:30 UK Mf PMI
10:30 UK Carney speaks
13:15 US NFE change
15:00 US ISM Mf Index

Plan on the DAX is to hold the PP line. PP levels are 40 pips down. There is 240 variance between R1 - S1.

set short limits orders at PP-R1 @ 11120
set long limits orders at ..PP-S1 @ 10880

Targets will be the PPoint @ 11000.
