From paper to cash on CS

I have been paper trading the FTSE on Capital Spreads and now have what I think of as a good, simple strategy, that I have honed down ( not to perfection, far from it ) enough to want to start trading/betting or whatever you want to call it for real.
Now there are two things I know you will say
a) Things are a lot different when you use your hard earned cash rather than paper trading.
b) There is a thread about CS all on its' own.
OK, I realise about a) but need to go there now and try. I DON'T want to post on the CS thread because what I want to know is, how different is the paper trading to the real trading on CS. If possible I would like replies, comments etc from punters/traders that have tried both. I REALLY don't want Simon from CS to reply no matter how well meaning he is. (Sorry Simon I don't know you and mean no disrespect).
P.S. This is my first post and would like to thank you all for the valuable info I've read when I've been lurking.

Think twice about joining Capital Spreads.

I'm currently finding alot of my Trades not being filled.
Read up a little more about them on recently on the CS thread..

The only way to begin trading is to throw yourself into it.
Open a small account, and trade at tiny amounts.
Yes its VERY different to paper trading, when you lose, even if its a pound.
You will feel the emotions.
But from my own experience with CS, I wouldnt recommend them.
I'm planning on closing my account with them.
