Forget GMT, just set the ea on your mt4 platform so it starts at 08.30 New York time.

TP +30 in 42 minutes today.

8:30 NY, DST = 12:30 GMT.

FMT must be set by your brokers GMT offset, you must know your brokers market watch offset to GMT.

for example: if your broker is GMT +3 offset (market watch) then you must set FMT to 15:30 (12:30 + 3) because 8:30 NY is 12:30 GMT.

actually it is not 12:30 London time..

8:30 NY in summer is now 13:30 London summer time and still 12:30 GMT.

please check your broker time to set FMT correctly, looks like you have it right by your opening prices.

too bad because it was definately a good "sell" trade, but mine both retraced to BE+5.

You must have got in at a slightly higher price, because mine was a fraction of a pip from hitting the 18 BE +5 on the 2.30 (uk time) candle

it should be 13:30 London time now, which is 12:30 GMT. and 8:30 NY ..?

It worked out well for you today but I still think you are trading an hour early ?

if you tell me your broker and GMT offset, I'll tell you what to set FMT at.
