My CBA holding account hits 10K.
Money I pull out of the market goes in here and stays there.
Pays taxes and earns about 2% bank interest, thanks central bankers.
Starting point was about $2,800
It's the retirement fund, long way to go

What Time Is It.

You get in the swing of when to check the markets.
Then the clocks change and you then have to think what time is it in that capital city. Are they open or closed yet.
Still got London and New York to go.
More confusion can't bloody wait.
Or maybe more opportunity.

Bring on 24/7 markets.
My punt is that we could see Saturday trading in the next 10 years.
With over time rates maybe, capitalist wont like that.

Very few jobs these days have premium time for antisocial or weekend hours.
Capitalism has a lot to answer for

What's Another Week

The week results, have a bit of a stray in the Saxo platform.
Hedge done at 36 hours, should have done at 24 hours.
But the trade is still workable.

Crossroads at Iress, need to work out the next move.

Got the account open, but waiting on approval.
So I can fund the account and get going.
Over a week now, can't rush these things I guess.

Thunderbirds Are Go

Account with FXCM set up and funded the 3K.
Just a matter of setting the platform to my liking.
Doing some trades and a redraw.
Platform looks good.
Has the fraction orders and orders direct onto the chart which I was looking for.

Will update more over the weekend.

Scores on the Door

Another week on the market.
Have 3 accounts running again.
Will stay with this set up for a while now.
Just need to set the FXMO platform up.
Been busy at work, so been very time poor for managing trades during the day.
Will spend an hour today, Sunday putting some orders into the systems.

Size World

Last week on the SAXO account upped my trade size.
Only $1 per point on each market and FX.

Found myself being a lot more selective on placing trade orders.
In the past would be comfortable with 2 or 3 orders open.
This last week would only take one trade per time.
Also with the ASX would be more than happy to enter again during the day on my market checks.

Might be over thinking because it't the first week at an increase size.
More of a note to myself on what I'm thinking now.
And something to look back going forward.

Keeping the Sub 4 dream alive.

Tough week to say the least.

3 Accounts and no one Home

Not able to log onto any of them at the moment.
FXCM is doing the weekly maintenance after the US close.

FP is also doing some maintenance fist time ever.

But with Saxo was not able to log on the account before US close and no one answering the phone.
Been good so far.

6 months in

First 6 months of swing and investing trading have been interesting to say the least.

Been great at picking turning points in the market(Index, shares & FX)

The problem is seeing those turning points go into profit and then turnaround the other way.

Must say I find scalping a lot easier and lot more cleaner than swing trading.

Will carry on for another 6 months, before I decide to quit or carry on this form of trading.

Maybe the only style of trading that suits me is sitting at home and screen watching.

Was hoping to get away from those long hours.
