Hi My name is Chris Creevey and have just joined website to learn about trading

I have shares with parker forrester
Does anybody know about them
I have tried to contact them to liquidate these shares but am getting the run around
If anybody has any information ON THEM IT WOULD BE MOST WELCOME

This warning list includes unauthorised overseas firms that the FSA has received complaints about in respect of their activities and/or the FSA has reason to believe they are involved, or have been involved in, activities that contravene section 19 and/or 21 of FSMA.

Such firms are often involved in ‘boiler room’ activities and pose a high degree of risk to consumers. They frequently engage in tactics including cold-calling members of the public offering shares that later turn out to be worthless or high risk. The callers can be very persistent and extremely persuasive. If you are cold-called by an unauthorised overseas firm in relation to stocks or shares, you should be extremely careful. If you are contacted in such a manner, the FSA advises that you simply terminate the telephone call – the most effective protection against such unauthorised firms is to have nothing to do with them.

Chris,

They have been mentioned before on another board http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1194693&page=3

They are also on the blacklist in Sweden as well as the UK http://www.fi.se/Templates/AlertListPage____6164.aspx?query=P

On the moneysavingexpert.com website you will see one or two posts saying how great they are, this happened on T2W as well where the scammers themselves posted saying that it wasnt a scam. They were quickly booted off T2W but moneysavingexpert.com doesnt seem to be so proactive.

Sadly the bottom line is that they are a scam and have most likely stolen your money.
