Diary of a swing spread better

Stopped out of my long but went back in again. Losses for the day stand at 21.

It's struggling to make new high at the moment. I'll tighten my stop.

Stop raised further to almost BE. The market has moved quite a bit but my position has not shown a profit because of the spread and Fins' price. I am not moaning, just a statement of fact

This trade will now surely be a profitable one. But we always come from behind as Chris said though.

Not much time to go. I may end up today just BE. But the important thing is I keep working on my learning curve and develop a feel for the market.

Stop loss is now at 11039.

Stopped out at 11037 - Fins' quote. Ended up making only 16 points from the last trade. The maximum possible was 27.

Stop was raised a bit too soon and I may be better off using mental stops so that I can get out at possibly a better price.

I could have but no I did not But narrowed my losses to five points which is not unacceptable.

That's it for me today.

One thing that works to my disadvantage is I can't trade all the swings. My losses is almost fixed at 10-20 but profit is limitless. As thus, if I miss the swing of the day that can potentially make me 50-100 points then the odds would be against me.

At least you are not in the red. I have to make 10 more to equal yours.

Try five min time frame with 20 sma and 1 min with 20sma

If the price bar breaks above the 20sma buy , and

If the price bar breaks below the 20sma sell.

Check with different time frames and follow the trend with 20 sma

sma = simple moving average

Less trade = patience = more profitable =>

Any body thiing it wrong ???

i have 20d sma at 10996? not sure what you end up with on adfn if put into daily chart. suppose it doesnt matter if it works for you.

Gonna watch the second half of the game now and try and shake off this fever.
